7 backpacking routes you must do for an adventure trip

If you like to travel, adventure and spend little money, it is clear that One of the following backpacking routes is just what you need to know the world, have a great time and enjoy the most unexpected and amazing places on the planet. Here we pass some of our favorites.

1. The Trans-Siberian of Russia

This is an impressive route that will allow you to get to know Russia from its own insides. Take one of the most mythical trains in the world, the Trans-Siberian, and travel more than 9,000 kilometers from Vladivostok to Yekaterinburg. On the way you will pass through the capital of the former Soviet Union, Moscow, or Lake Baikal, of an unusual depth.

2. Route 66 in the United States

We take a monumental leap now and head to the other end of the planet, to the United States. Here we discover one of the most mythical roads in the world, Route 66. Get ready to march from Chicago to Los Angeles, crossing the country from coast to coast.

Along the path of this mythical route that millions of travelers and backpackers have traveled we find cities and states as well known for films like Texas, Saint Louis, Kansas or Arizona.

3. Turkey and Egypt

We go now with a new backpacking route that allows us to travel two continents. We will travel to the capital of Turkey, Istanbul, and we will travel to Cairo, in Egypt.

This is a beautiful route that, unfortunately, is quite dangerous today, since going through Syria is really suicidal today. However, to know Istanbul, with its unrepeatable magic; visit the incomparable Petra in Jordan; take a dip in the Dead Sea; continue towards Israel and end in Cairo, where we can visit the most spectacular pyramids in the world, without a doubt it's a unique backpacker route across the planet.

4. Egypt and South Africa

Have you reached Cairo and you have been wanting more? Well, don't worry, because your trip doesn't have to end there. You can continue along the coast of Africa until you go down to South Africa, the southernmost country on the black continent.

From Cairo to Cape Town You can glimpse the wonders of Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park or Chobe and cross countries like Sudan, Ethiopia or Kenya.

5. The Silk Road

Do you want to throw your backpack on your back and feel like Marco Polo himself? Well do the Silk Road to know the adventure of the European merchant.

In this case, we will know a good amount of Asian countries, starting in China, in the city of Xi'An, specifically. From there we will travel to other states such as Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan to finish our steps in Pakistan and India.
On this route, if you are brave and risky, you can step on land from Iran or Afghanistan, although the latter, being a very unstable country, is not advisable.

6. Australia

One of the real paradises left in the world for backpackers is Australia. If we avoid the central part, full of suffocating deserts, the coast of the southern country is fantastic for breathtaking routes that you will never forget.
In this case, you can visit Melbourne, the Great Barrier Reef or magnificent beaches with incredible waves on the shores of Brisbane or Cairns.

If you are a surf lover, do not have the slightest kind of doubt when picking up your backpack and march to the Australian coast. It is the best trip you can take.

7. Gringo Trail

By last, We approach the South American country of Peru to recommend the route known as Gringo Trail. In it we will visit some of the most beautiful cities of the Andean state.

The Gringo Trail begins its steps in the Peruvian capital, Lima, to march south, to Paracas. But it should be added that among its most mythical stops include places such as Nazca, Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, the impressive Cuzco, the Inca Trail or the ascent to the spectacular Machu Picchu.
These are, in our view, some of the most spectacular backpacking routes that are found all over the world today. But don't forget that any part of the planet has wonderful places to discover. So, do not think about it anymore, prepare your luggage, fill your suitcase with illusion and launch your adventure.
