Valencia in three days: the historic center of the city

Miguelete tower and cathedral

The first day we will dedicate to know the great historical center of Valencia. We will get lost in its streets and visit its most representative monuments and buildings, which are not few.

We start with the famous Silk Exchange. In it we will admire the Gothic architecture, the Patio de los Naranjos and the beautiful and emblematic tower. By the way, you have to look at the gargoyles, a repertoire of the most curious characters.

We are not going far. One step away is the Central Market, full of stalls with fresh products. But if it stands out for something, it is for its beautiful modernist architecture. And you have to walk around, true jewels await us.

Walking quietly we will arrive at the Plaza de la Virgen and the cathedral complex. Valencia's is a different cathedral, but beautiful. A mixture of styles ranging from Romanesque to Baroque.

Next to the cathedral, you have to visit what is its bell tower and the most famous tower in Valencia: El Miguelete.

And we still have a lot to see: Redonda Square, the Water Tribunal, the church of San Nicolás de Bari, the Serranos tower ... The center of Valencia is full of monuments worth a visit. That is why we will squeeze the first day in the city to the fullest.

Second day: the City of Arts and Sciences

We cannot visit Valencia and not visit this fabulous complex. Here we await the Oceanogràfic, the Museum of Sciences and the Hemispheric. We recommend getting a joint ticket for all three spaces and enjoy a complete experience.

Third day: the marina and the Malvarrosa beach

Malvarrosa Beach - Werner Wilmes /

After two days without stopping, we need a day of relaxation and rest. This is what we are going to do to put a finishing touch to this tour of Valencia in three days. To enjoy the sun and the good weather, nothing like Malvarrosa beach.

Ywe can't leave Valencia without eating a paella, so we will book in the restaurants located on the seafront. Eat on a terrace by the sea, enjoying the sun. Can you think of a better plan?

The Royal Marina is at the end of Malvarrosa beach. We can take a pleasant walk between large boats and luxurious yachts located there. The restaurants of this port are a good option to enjoy the cuisine of the area and contemplate the beauty of the beach and the sea.
